My R1200C, model 2001,trip odometer skips. Appears to have play in the trip odometer shaft. Need to remove lateral play & glue shaft & gear together. Its a Japanese unit & no spare parts or instructions are available. Appears to be a sealed unit with no access to the inside. Anybody knows how to access the inside & am I right on my hunch?
