I'm assuming that these are not what we call high bars, but low or "euro" bars. Correct? Or are there even lower bars?

Currently I have 1096mm throttle cables that work fine, but are showing their age. I bought 1007mm seeing this is what every site on the planet says are for the low bars on an R80/7 (bought them before measuring the existing). They bind bad. I routed them a few different ways with no luck. Anyone have these same bars that can confirm their cable length?

Link to photo. I can never get it to work on forums.

If not mistaken, those are what the rest of the world calls "R90S bars". So you might go on the parts fiche on Max BMW and see what length the R90S model used.

Hope this helps.

update: I am really beginning to think the 9/77 builds for the R80/7 is a bit of a cross over hodge podge. I always seem to have more than one or two options for parts. That being said, I ordered 1096mm again seeing that was what was on there previously, and they work just fine. Plus I got BMW cables in lieu of the cheaper plastic type ones that were on there. These seem to have a more rubbery coating. WHAT A DIFFERENCE.
