The Airheads Beemer Club is a non-profit club reclaiming the 'Legendary Motorcycles of Germany'


The guiding principle in the rebuilt was functionality. All original parts were improved on. The bike had approximately 50K miles at rebuilt, now shows 6700 miles afterwards.

Rebuilt by Desmoto Sports in San Francisco and myself.

Engine, transmission and carburetors rebuilt, final drive inspected.

RaceTech Gold Valve treatment for the black powder coated front end and rebuilt Ohlins rear shock.

Whoody’s Wheels powder coated black with stainless steel spokes, new brake disc and Billet mini 6 piston brake caliper. New front fender with aluminum support. Rebuilt triple tree.

Fehling handlebar with Rox 2” rear sets and Kellermann LED bar end blinkers, plus LED license plate holder blinkers added, new mirrors.

Siebenrock GS2 analog/digital speedometer.

Zach 247 E exhaust system form Germany.

Bill Mayer refurbished single seat with powder coated BMW rack.

1983 BMW R80ST tank with custom paint job.

Miscellaneous new parts used throughout the rebuilt, to numerous to list.ß
